Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) Phase 1 Groundbreaking Ceremony

The joint venture of Shimizu Corporation, Fujita Corporation, Takenaka Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., and EEI Corporation has signed the design and build contract for the first three stations of the Metro Manila Subway Systems with DOTr.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place last February 27, 2019. It was attended by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade, Ambassador Koji Haneda of Japan, and the principal officers of the joint venture.
