Tutorial on How To Buy Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) Stocks via ColFinancial

In this article, I will be discussing how to buy Robinsons Land Corportaion (RLC) stocks. 

Note: Some information are blocked as it is confidential. However, if you have an account already at COL, you can see all your private information as it is your own account.


Step 1: Go to ColFinancial website and type your account number on the User ID box and your Password on the Password box and then click login.





Step 2: After logging in, click the "Quotes" button and then click the "Stock" button as shown below. 




* After clicking the "Stock" button, type "RLC" beside the Stock Code and click "Quote" button.



* After clicking the "Quote" button, here's what you will see (see below image). Here in this area, the Bid and Ask are located, this is the place where you buy and sell stocks. Now as indicated below, click the "BUY" button to proceed on buying RLC stocks.



* After clicking the "BUY" button, here's what you'll see (see image below). To proceed, pur RLC beside the Stock Code as what shown below, beside the # of Shares put 100, notice that the minimum board lot is 100, meaning you cannot buy 90, 150, 180, but within the multiples of 100 such as the value 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300 and so on and so forth as these values are within the multiples 100. But if the minimum board lot is 10, you have to buy within the multiples of 10 such as the value 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140. Now besides the "Price" put the highest price on the Ask column as this highest price is recommended by experts (I will be covering more on this later on). Afterwards, click the "Preview Order" button. 


* After clicking the "Preview Order" button, you can now see your total order together with the total charges. Now to continue with your order type your password beside the "Enter your password" section and then click "Place Buy Order" button. Now if for some reason you change your mind, you can cancel the order anytime by clicking the "Cancel Order" button.





* After clicking the "Place Buy Order" button, here's what you'll see (see image below). To verify your order click the Trading History button.



* After clicking the Trading History button, if you see the red notification that says "You have no open stock order at this time" it means that your order has been successfully processed right away. But if you still see pending orders, just wait up to 24 hours for them to process your order. 


* Now the final part, to see your newly bought RLC stocks, you have to go back in your Portfolio by clicking the "Trade" button and then the "Portfolio" button. Once you're in your Portfolio dashboard, you can now see your newly bought RLC stocks as indicated on the image below.

Hi! and welcome to Pinoy Stock Trader's Blog. In this post, I will be covering basic information about the stock market, basic investing tips and guides. I am referring particularly to our own local Philippine Stock Market.




What is a Stock Market?



The stock market is a place where shares of stock of publicly-listed companies are bought and sold.

The stock market is actually located with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). The PSE has two offices one in Ortigas and one in Makati, but don't worry because you don't have to go there in order to transact with them (I will be covering more info about this later on).

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) is the corporation that governs our local stock market. 



What are Stocks?


Stocks are shares of ownership in a corporation or it represents ownership of a company. People buy or invest in stocks to benefit from a company's tremendous value potential over time. Once you buy or invest into a stock you now become part owner or a shareholder of that particular corporation.

How To Invest in Philippine Stock Market? 


In this post, I will talk about the basics on how to invest in the Philippine Stock Market.

Note: This is not a get-rich-quick schemes, this is a long term investment and I don't believe on get-rich quick schemes, if this is what you're looking for, then this place is not for you, please go somewhere else, but if you want to be a stock market investor please continue reading below.

In order to invest in the Philippine Stock Market, you need to create an online stock broker like COL, you need to create an account with COL Financial, before you can invest in the Philippine stock market. 2. FILL OUT APPLICATION FORMS

    • Customer Account Information Form (CAIF)
    • Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
  • The Online Securities Trading Agreement (OSTA)
    should be read and kept by the account holder

3.) PREPARE ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

FILIPINO CITIZENS: 
- Photocopy of one (1) valid government issued ID
Photo and signature must be clear

RESIDENT FOREIGN CITIZENS: 
- Photocopy of one (1) valid government issued ID
Photo and signature must be clear
- Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
or Work Permit from DOLE

4.) SUBMIT FORMS AND REQUIREMENTS


You may personally submit originally signed forms and clear ID documents to COL Financial or through iRemit branches.
